Created as a result of a Scandinavian expedition to Greenland that left the explorers unsatisfied with their clothing, Åke Nordin solved their problems with a revolutionary jacket that was windproof, waterproof, breathable and set the standard for outerwear.

Designed specifically for schoolchildren at its time of release, the bag revolutionised the old-fashioned shoulder bags that were favoured at the time, improving the posture and reducing the backpain they experienced.
